Vision Hospitality Group, Inc. is seeking an accomplished and highly connected hospitality sales leader to serve as our Vice President of Sales and Community Partnerships in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
This is more than a traditional sales leadership position. It is an opportunity to lead the sales strategy for Vision Hospitality Group’s Chattanooga area hotels while also serving as a visible ambassador for our company throughout the community we are proud to call home.
The Vice President of Sales and Community Partnerships will have oversight of all aspects of sales efforts for Vision Hospitality Group’s Chattanooga area portfolio. This leader will develop and execute market strategies, strengthen key accounts, identify new business opportunities, and partner with our property and corporate leaders to increase revenue, market share, and long term business partnerships.
Equally important, this individual will champion one of Vision’s most important cultural pillars: community engagement and support. The right person will have a genuine passion for Chattanooga, strong partnerships throughout the area, and a desire to help Vision continue making a meaningful difference in the community.
This position is based solely in Chattanooga and requires an active, visible presence throughout the market. Candidates who currently live in Chattanooga or have strong, deep rooted connections to the Chattanooga community will receive priority consideration.
What You Will Lead
Chattanooga Sales Strategy and Performance
Develop and lead the overall sales strategy for Vision Hospitality Group’s Chattanooga area hotels.
Provide strategic and hands on leadership to property sales teams, General Managers, and other hotel leaders.
Establish clear sales goals, priorities, performance expectations, and accountability across the Chattanooga portfolio.
Analyze market conditions, competitive performance, booking pace, account production, demand trends, and future opportunities.
Partner with Revenue Management, Operations, Marketing, and property leadership to align sales strategies with pricing, forecasting, inventory, and business goals.
Monitor portfolio performance, including revenue, occupancy, average daily rate, RevPAR, market share, group pace, account production, and lead conversion.
Identify performance gaps and develop clear action plans to improve results.
Ensure each Chattanooga area hotel has an effective sales strategy that supports its individual brand, market position, and business needs.
Business Development and Key Accounts
Serve as the senior sales leader and primary partnership builder for key Chattanooga area accounts.
Personally develop and maintain strong partnerships with major employers, meeting planners, corporate accounts, sports organizations, universities, healthcare organizations, government agencies, tourism partners, and other business producers.
Identify and pursue new opportunities across corporate, group, association, government, sports, leisure, project, extended stay, and social market segments.
Lead major proposals, presentations, negotiations, and partnership discussions.
Strengthen account retention while expanding Vision’s share of business throughout the Chattanooga market.
Create opportunities to cross sell business among Vision’s Chattanooga area hotels.
Maintain an active presence through sales calls, client meetings, hotel tours, networking events, trade shows, community functions, and market activities.
Build strong partnerships with the Chattanooga Tourism Co., Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce, local economic development organizations, and other community and business groups.
Sales Team Leadership
Lead, coach, support, and hold accountable the sales professionals serving Vision’s Chattanooga area hotels.
Establish a consistent rhythm of sales meetings, pipeline reviews, account strategy discussions, and performance follow up.
Build a culture of proactive selling, personal accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Help recruit, onboard, develop, and retain strong hotel sales talent.
Provide ongoing coaching and professional development that strengthens the capabilities of property sales teams.
Ensure sales systems, processes, reporting, and brand resources are used consistently and effectively.
Encourage collaboration across hotels while ensuring each property receives the individual focus needed to achieve its goals.
Community Partnerships and Engagement
Serve as a visible ambassador for Vision Hospitality Group throughout Chattanooga.
Develop and maintain meaningful partnerships with community leaders, nonprofit organizations, schools, civic groups, tourism partners, business organizations, and other local stakeholders.
Represent Vision at community events, civic meetings, charitable activities, networking functions, and local initiatives.
Identify opportunities for Vision and its Chattanooga hotels to support organizations and causes that align with our company’s values.
Lead and coordinate community engagement efforts across the Chattanooga portfolio.
Encourage associate participation in volunteer activities and community service projects.
Promote Vision’s commitment to community engagement both internally and externally.
Help tell the story of Vision’s community impact and strengthen the company’s reputation as a trusted Chattanooga employer and business partner.
Ensure our community efforts are thoughtful, consistent, and connected to the needs of the Chattanooga area.
What We Are Looking For
Required Experience
Regional hotel sales leadership experience or higher is required.
Candidates must have held a regional, area, corporate, or executive hotel sales leadership position with responsibility for multiple hotels.
Significant progressive experience in hotel sales, business development, and commercial strategy.
A proven record of increasing hotel revenue, developing new accounts, strengthening market share, and leading successful sales teams.
Strong knowledge of hotel revenue strategy, forecasting, market segmentation, account management, group sales, and competitive analysis.
Experience working across multiple hotel brands and market segments is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success building partnerships with senior business leaders, major accounts, tourism organizations, and community partners.
Experience coaching and developing hotel sales leaders across multiple properties.
Property level experience alone, without regional, area, multi-property, corporate, or executive hotel sales leadership experience, will not meet the minimum qualifications for this position.

This is not a remote or hybrid position. The Vice President of Sales and Community Partnerships must be based in Chattanooga and maintain an active presence at our hotels, with our clients, and throughout the community.

A bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and significant hotel sales leadership experience will also be considered.
